Clinical Preventive Services Topics

Certain clinical preventive services may not be listed in the A-Z index due to their recommendation level:
  • A Recommendation: The USPSTF recommends the service.
  • B Recommendation: The USPSTF recommends the service.
  • C Recommendation: The USPSTF recommends against routinely providing the service.
  • D Recommendation: The USPSTF recommends against the service.
  • I Recommendation: The USPSTF concludes that the current evidence is insufficient.
The A - Z index houses all recommended clinical preventive services. Each clinical preventive service is accompanied by an evidence statement, summary plan description (SPD) language and CPT Codes.

The following A-Z index includes employer-recommended, evidence-based clinical preventive services. The full list of preventive services that have a rating of A or B from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force that are relevant for implementing the Affordable Care Act is available.
