How can I join the National Business Group on Health?
If your company is interested in joining the National Business Group on Health, please submit our secure online enrollment form. All memberships are at the company level, but every member company is welcome to have as many individual contacts associated with their membership as they think would benefit from it.

My company just joined and I don't know how to get started to access benefits and services.
The Business Group's membership department offers web-based new member orientation sessions to all new members. Even if your company has been a member for a while we are happy to schedule a session for you. Please contact membership@businessgrouphealth.org.

What do the silver locks next to various documents mean?
All items designated with a silver lock are open to all members of the National Business Group on Health. Documents without a lock are in the public domain and can be accessed by all visitors to our site. Certain documents are restricted to members of specific Business Group initiatives.

How do I access members-only areas of the website?
If your company is a member of the National Business Group on Health you can request a member login and password to access all areas of the website. Please email membership@businessgrouphealth.org and include your complete contact information and you will be added to the membership. Please click here if you are not sure if your company is a current member of the Business Group.

How can I connect with other Business Group members?
Selected corporate HR and Benefits professionals are listed with their contact information in our online Membership Directory. If your company participates in this voluntary program you can contact membership@businessgrouphealth.org to request access rights to the directory. If you need to contact someone not listed in the directory or if your company is not participating in this program, please email membership@businessgrouphealth.org and we will be happy to assist you.

I have a problem, but don't know who to send mail to!

How do I update my email preferences?
To receive timely information on your areas of interest, please update your email preferences by clicking here. Providing this information will greatly enhance your membership experience. When you are added to the database, no preferences are selected. If no preferences are selected you will only receive the semi-monthly membership report which summarize all our activities.

How do I update my contact information?
Please send an email to membership@businessgrouphealth.org and we will happily make the necessary changes.

What are the costs of member services you provide?
Most Business Group member services are provided at no additional cost to members. This includes participation in Webinars, answering of benefits questions, job postings for your company or the request of a Quick Survey. There is a registration fee for our "in person meetings", including Business Health Agenda, The National Conference on Health, Productivity and Human Capital and our Employer Summits. Business Group members are offered a highly discounted rate for all of these events.

How can I post an open HR/Benefits position for my company on your website?
As a member of the Business Group you can post any open HR and Benefits positions for your company on our website. Simply go to our Career Center and submit your job description. The position will be posted in the Career Center section of our website for 45 days.

    • Public Policy Advisory Group
      The Public Policy Advisory Group assists Business Group staff and Board in identifying health benefits and health care issues most important to employer members and in focusing policy resources on those issues. The council aids in the development of member-driven public positions, makes recommendations on priority issues, advises on the types and level of resource commitments devoted to priority issues, assists in preparing policy documents and in recruiting members for testimony, and encourages member advocacy.     • Council on Employee Health and Productivity
      The Council on Employee Health and Productivity addresses the problems and issues facing absence, productivity and disability managers. The council is leading an ambitious, multi-year effort to develop and deliver industry-standardized, uniform measures, including lost-time, disability and program performance metrics and reporting.       The Pharmaceutical Council's goal is to identify and implement initiatives to improve the accuracy, safety, quality, cost, and ultimately the sustainability of employer-sponsored prescription drug benefits.
I can't find what I am looking for! Can I get an overview of how to navigate your website?
The National Business Group on Health offers one hour web-based orientations on a monthly basis. These classes are geared to help members navigate the website. If you would like to attend one of the classes or would like to receive more information on the schedule, please contact membership@businessgrouphealth.org. You can also search for specific information on a certain topic in our Publications database, using our keyword search.

Who can help me answer my benefits question?
How do I register for an event?
To get an overview of our events, please access our online calendar with a display of all upcoming events and meetings. Select the event you are interested in and you will be directed to a site with a detailed description of the event as well as all relevant registration information.

I have made several unsuccessful attempts to log in to the website. What am I doing wrong?
Please verify the spelling of the username and password you are entering. Also, be sure to check that you are entering the proper case for each letter since the login is case-sensitive. Certain areas of the website — displayed with a green or an orange lock — are restricted to employees of companies who have joined specific committees or institutes. The online member directory also requires your company's participation in the program for you to gain access.

I cannot remember my username and password. What should I do?
Please click on the Forgot your password link and if there is an account registered under your email address, your login information will be emailed to you. If no account can be found for your email address, please contact membership@businessgrouphealth.org for further assistance.
