Megan Sowa
Program Associate
Megan Sowa is a Program Associate to the Institute on Health Care Costs and Solutions. She is responsible for providing research, writing, and support to all Institute activities. Megan primarily assists with the planning and projects related to the National Committee on Evidence-Based Benefit Design and the biannual Employers' Summit on Health Care Costs and Solutions.
The National Committee on Evidence-Based Benefit Design's mission is to improve care quality and promote value by using benefit design to encourage and reward effective care and discourage ineffective care by linking benefit design to medical practices with demonstrated effectiveness.
The Employers' Summits bring together Corporate Benefit Managers and Human Resource Executives to brainstorm ideas and share best practices, experiences and expertise around health care benefits and strategies to controlling costs.
Megan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University in University Park, PA.
